I'm a guest blogger on Saffire Blue today

I'm a guest blogger on Saffire Blue's blog today, writing about using shealoe butter in lotion bars and scrubs. I've been trying this stuff in everything and I love it.

Here's the informational post I wrote on this butter.

Hi Susan,

I recently purchased shealoe butter and I'm now confused about the preservative. I noticed on the Saffire Blue blog you posted a lotion bar recipe made with this ingredient. If the butters preserved at one rate, how can additional ingredients not effect the preservative system? It would be helpful to me if you could explain how this works.

I've listed the ingredient list of the shealoe butter I purchased.

Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) Fruit, Polysorbate 60, Sorbitan Stearate, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Potassium Sorbate, BHT, Sorbic Acid
