I love these 2 PDFs ! I was thinking about making a nightcream for my daughter who has fairly dry skin with an oily T-Zone and suffers quite badly from acne. I was wondering if something like Mango Butter, Melon Seed Oil, Shea Butter sounds like a good combo ? If I want to make it more lotion like, which emulsifier would you recommend ?
I took a quick look at melon seed oil - it's a high linoleic oil, so that would be great for someone with acne. It contains some phospholipids (more about these shortly), which influence skin moisturization. Seems like a great choice! Shea butter and mango butter are great for dry skin. As for an emulsifier, I have found BTMS to be a good emulsifier for my facial products - the cationic charge and conditioning agent make it more substantive to our skin. You can use e-wax, as well, it works well for emulsification purposes.
You're pretty nifty, has any one ever told you that? Thanks for consolidating all the great info into these pdfs!
Unfortunatelly pdf are not able to download :(Can you help me, please?
Hi Celeblith! I'm sorry. I'm not sure what to tell you as it seems to be downloading fine for me!
